PMP & PG deals: premium inventory, sold on your terms

Private marketplace and programmatic guaranteed deals let publishers sell selected inventory to selected buyers at agreed prices, while keeping programmatic delivery. Vertoz builds and manages these deals for you.

Deal types, and how they differ

Open auction

Any eligible buyer can bid. Maximum reach, least control over who buys and at what price.

Private marketplace (PMP)

An invitation-only auction. Selected buyers bid above a floor price for defined inventory. Volume is not guaranteed.

Preferred deal

A fixed price offered to one buyer, who gets an early look at inventory but is not obliged to buy.

Programmatic guaranteed (PG)

A fixed price and a committed volume, agreed in advance and delivered programmatically. Closest to a traditional direct deal.

Why deals matter

Buyers pay more when they know what they are getting. Deals give them defined inventory, audiences and context; they give you price control and a direct relationship with the buyer.

The work is in the packaging: deciding what to bundle, how to describe it and what it should cost.

How Vertoz supports deals

  • Packaging by audience, context, format and season
  • Deal set-up and buyer activation
  • Monitoring of bid rates, win rates and delivery
  • Troubleshooting when a deal under-delivers

Request a deal

Buyers: tell us the audience, market, format and dates you have in mind. The team replies with what can be offered and on what terms. These are request-based offerings, not a published catalogue.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between PMP and PG?

In a PMP, invited buyers bid in a private auction and volume is not guaranteed. In programmatic guaranteed, price and volume are agreed in advance and the buyer commits to them.

Which inventory is suited to deals?

Inventory with a clear audience or context: premium placements, video and CTV, seasonal content and first-party audience segments.

Can deals run alongside open auction?

Yes. Deals usually take priority for the inventory they cover, with the open auction filling the remainder.

How does a buyer request a deal?

Through the contact page, with the audience, market, format and dates required. The team confirms what is available.

Is deal inventory guaranteed?

In a PMP, no: buyers bid and volume is not committed. In a programmatic guaranteed deal, price and volume are fixed once both sides have agreed.

What is curated inventory?

Inventory from several publishers grouped into one package around an audience, context or moment, and offered to buyers under a single deal.
